CPD accreditation
Being able to claim time spent engaging with MHPOD towards CPD requirements is an additional incentive for participation for learners. Accreditation/endorsement for MHPOD topics has been sought with a number of professional bodies. The following table outlines the current endorsement/accreditation status of MHPOD topics.

| Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN) | 24/10/14 | The ACMHN has endorsed all 45 MHPOD topics for continuing professional education (CPE) purposes. Members are able to earn 1 CPE point for every hour of MHPOD activity |
| Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) | N/A | The ACRRM has approved all 45 MHPOD topics for CPD purposes. ACRRM members participating in MHPOD are able to accrue 1 core point per hour of activity, with points capped at 30 core points per triennium. |
| Australian Psychological Society (APS) | 05/09/12 | The APS has endorsed all of the 45 MHPOD Topics. Click here to see the CPD points allocated for each Topic. |
| Occupational Therapy Australia (OT Aus) | N/A | By participating in MHPOD, OT Aus members are able to claim up to 70 CPD hours in Category 5 towards their Accredited Occupational Therapist Program CPD hours requirements. Please note in order to satisfy AccOT requirements, the minimum credit must now be accrued across no less than three categories. |

| Speech Pathology Australia | N/A | Speech Pathology Australia PSR participants can claim 1 point per hour (to a maximum of 12 points) in activity type ‘Attendance at workshops and special interest groups (code W/S)’ for completing modules that are relevant to their professional practice and that extend the knowledge and skills of the speech pathologist. |
